Universal Link System (ULS)
Brown International built to print the Universal Link System for Interoperability Systems International. The system is a tactical data link systems which can be employed as a Protocol Converter, an operational C3 workstation or as an element of a higher echelon C4I Command Center. The ULS supports multiple tactical data links including TADIL-A (Link 11), TADIL-B (Link 11B), ATDL-1, IDL and other custom serial links. TADIL-J (Link 16) is currently in development.
The ULS Workstation is normally packaged with a graphics display, standard peripherals, storage devices, processor unit, etc. in a rugged cabinet. Multiple workstations can be connected via LAN to support higher Headquarters or Command Center operations. The physical system architecture has the versatility to meet and adapt to demanding tactical environmental situations as required by the customer.
